Where do I come from?

I was born in Southern California and for the first few years of my life, I lived in San Clemente.  A five-minute walk from North Beach. 

Where am I going?

To Barcelona Spain! I love architecture and have always been fascinated by Antoni Gaudi's architectural wonders. I have to see his architecture at least once in my lifetime!

How do I plan to get there?

By plane... and savings. 

How am I like my parents?

I am resourceful like my mom and creative like my dad. 

How am I, unlike my parents?

I am not a social butterfly 🦋 like mom! She is not shy and can strike up a conversation with anyone, anytime.  

Have you developed your own expectations for yourself, or if you were honest, would you say you're operating under someone else's expectations?

Growing up it was hard not to operate under my parent's expectations. I know that all they ever wanted was for me to have a better life filled with opportunities and experiences they never did, but it's kind of tough when some of our expectations clash. 

Who, serves as a model for you of someone who lives life with great passion and personal responsibility?

Taylor Swift serves as a great model of someone who lives their life with great passion, I can write an essay about her but I only have 500 words so here's a great quote.

"There might be times when you put your whole heart and soul into something, and it is met with cynicism or skepticism, but you can't let that crush you. Connecting with the ANIMAL WORLD:

The Black-footed cat, formally known as the Felis nigripes is the smallest wild cat in Africa. It's tiny but mighty!

Connecting with the NATURE KINGDOMS:

In fifth grade, every dual immersion student had to take a test from the Embassy of Spain. The test interfered with our recess time so our teacher brought out some basketballs and jump ropes during our last class. While we were playing a tree fell (with a beehive) and a swarm of bees flew our way. Everyone ran as fast and as far away as they could, twelve years later we still laugh when we reminisce about the time were chased by a swarm of bees.
